If you don’t need the food buff, you could opt for bear tartare to offset the movement issues btw. I also had numerous wipes in the 0.2% to 3% range where my body was halfway in a heal orb but it never went off. I’d try to save movement abilities for that but sometimes that wasn’t enough. My biggest, and only real issue in p2, is the stomp slow and beams combo since I would kite Kruul away from orbs and sometimes get caught by two or three beams and a stomp puddle.

That’s more than enough time to get full benefit out of the full pot and drums too. (Usually ended up right after the first Annihilate and interrupt combo happened). I found it was more reliable and I would have Berserk up around the time the first horrors spawned in p2 when I was dealing with Kruul. If HotW only has a few second left, I would just boomy to fire off that last Starsurge then be in bear the rest of the time. I think those options depend on your comfort level with boomy spam, the fight timers (interrupt may be needed as soon as you kill horrors), and the time left on HotW. You can kite and dot the infernal, dot eyes, and focus Variss and just do this until you need to interrupt. Pop a sunfire, go bear, drop seed pod, hurt them D.E.D. Dot 1 with a quick MF and between that and regrowth they should just b-line to you. Use typhoon to interrupt, do this until first horrors.

  • Regrowth as soon as Variss moves into position and pop HotW.
  • But keep in mind, it was not clean at first and between good attempts I got knocked off by eyes I SWEAR I looked at – all that to say, taking the bad with the good is par for the course, and doesn’t mean you’re not learning/getting betterĪlso going to restate this, but you can pre-pot before zoning in and get 20+ secs on UBF on Variss. like, “this time, I’m going to cleave the adds on the boss for the first add wave” and eventually, once I got comfortable I was able to extend that to other parts of the fight.
  • My trinkets: Bottled Flaywing Toxin and Phial of PutrificationĪlso, I’ll preface this with saying, I was raging SUPER hard most of the time lol, but, each attempt I tried to work on 1 specific thing.
  • People online tend to say they’re no big deal, but they are if you’re touching 2 of them (they’ll still push you back)

BIG NOTE: in p2, if there are 2 purple beams, you can’t jump through both.I definitely had to use orbs at the end to prevent stuff from killing me and velen (was panicking).I tended to keep at least 1 ironfur up at all times during p2 (had a ton of rage). If you pop incarn/berserk, don’t forget you can spam frenzied regen a bunch (cause it comes off CD a lot faster).Sometimes you even get the inc cap for drain life as well) In p1, I cleaved adds on Varis (hiiighly reecommend practicing this to speed up p1 times.Got lucky that I didn’t have the netherbois up at the time (they were just coming out of the doors) I died at 1% with 3 thrash stacks, moonfire, and a dot from my trinket.unbridled fury pot did 10.3k total damage on kruul.

  • Popped incarnation, drums, and unbridled fury (a must, imo) at beginning of phase 2.
  • I want to cross post some deets about my successful run last night (after ~100 attempts) in case people need encouragement, hard data on what a win could look like:

also makes the adds go down quicker (including infernals) which feels nice, and gives you a chance to catch your stride +1 to potting at the beginning of p2 (with drums and incarn).
